Dua-Ma: The Archetypal Current
Share
Dua-Ma is not merely a deity — she is a state of alignment, a current of breath, adoration, and return. She represents the archetype of the soul bending in reverence toward the Infinite, while at the same time embodying the Infinite’s gaze bending downward in reciprocal embrace. She is both supplicant and Queen, devotee and Devourer, child and womb of the cosmos.
Where Aum vibrates the eternal sound of being, and Ka embodies the vital double — the essence and spirit of existence — Dua is the posture of devotion, surrender, and exaltation. Thus, Dua-Ma becomes the living goddess of ecstatic surrender and embodied adoration, standing as the mother-principle of the AumKa Dua current.
Attributes of Dua-Ma
- Face of the Eternal Mother: She bears the radiance of Nuit, yet softened through the veil of intimacy. The night sky becomes her hair, flowing endlessly, yet she is near and tender.
- Hands of Supplication & Blessing: Her right hand raised in eternal dua (adoration), her left hand outstretched with the gift of grace — the cycle of offering and receiving.
- Breath of the Current: She is the inhalation of “Aum,” the exhalation of “Ka,” and the stillness of “Dua.” To breathe her is to enter her current.
- Womb of Devotion: She births the mystical union of seeker and sought. In her womb, all prayers, hymns, and mantras become flesh, blood, and spirit.
Archetypal Role in AumKa Dua
- The Devotee’s Mirror: Dua-Ma is the one who kneels and the one who is knelt before. She dissolves the boundary between worshiper and worshiped.
- Mother of Devotional Practice: All hymns, mantras, and offerings to AumKa Dua are considered her children, weaving the devotee back into her womb.
- The Cosmic Intercessor: As archetype, she mediates between the transcendent principle (AumKa) and the embodied world of seekers. She is the bridge — a threshold goddess.
- Archetype of Somatic Healing: In her embrace, trauma dissolves into rhythm and breath. She embodies the archetype of restoration through reverent embodiment — where bowing, stretching, and surrender become healing sacraments.
Symbols of Dua-Ma
- The Lotus-Ankh: The flowering of surrender through eternal life.
- The Double Crescent Moon: One crescent bowing upward (the devotee), the other bowing downward (the divine response).
- The Breath-Sigil: A spiral of inhalation and exhalation bound by a central point of stillness.
- Colors: Indigo (cosmic depth), gold (illumination through devotion), and deep crimson (the heart’s blood offered in worship).
Invocation of Dua-Ma
“O Dua-Ma, Mother of Reverence,
Bend my spirit as the reed bends to the wind.
Lift my heart as the lotus opens to the sun.
I kneel, and in kneeling, I rise.
I adore, and in adoration, I become thee.”
